Since childhood, my father has been a “chocoholic.” Roughly 30 years ago, my parents invited neighbors to celebrate my father’s birthday. He asked them not to bring a gift, but instead to bring something chocolate to share. Since then the tradition and guest lists grew to a 300 person event where everyone brings, eats and then takes home chocolate treats. I design the annual invitation with the goal of getting everyone excited about the event and serious about the chocolate creations they bring. For this year, I combined vintage chocolate poster illustrations, hand-drawn, stock and digital images to draw the viewer into a delicious chocolate wonderland.
